CareBox was started by myself, Nicola and has been made possible with my angel investor, Angus.

I remember when I experienced a breakdown 10 years ago, my family and friends were at a complete loss as to what to do.  Looking back now I can understand why because I didn’t even know what I needed or what was happening to me.  From my own experience I realised the one thing that kept me going was the love and care shown to me and my family by friends, family and even total strangers.  They took the time to care.

This is where the idea of CareBox was born.  In the world we live in the one thing that isn’t easily available these days is time and care takes time.  CareBox is designed to help make it a little easier to show a loved one or colleague that they’re loved and that they’re not alone.  There is a whole lot of emotion that goes into packing each individual CareBox. It’s about being able to gift them with a hand picked box filled with thoughtful, specially chosen items that can be used along their journey, and adding a dash of hope and courage too…

…because love lends strength. xx
